Keep a follow-up that feels like a remembered promise
A practical relationship note and follow-up worksheet that separates facts, commitments, and your next action.

Capture the useful context, not a transcript
After a conversation, write a short note about the topic, the other person’s stated preference, and anything you promised. A note should help you be considerate later, not collect everything someone revealed. Use their own description when precision matters, and keep a guess separate from something they actually said. Sensitive personal details rarely belong in an ordinary follow-up task.
Turn a promise into a concrete action
“Keep in touch” is hard to complete. “Send the article we discussed by Friday” names the item, the recipient, and the timing. If the timing was not agreed, record that as your own reminder rather than their expectation. MayoCRM organizes people, conversations, tasks, and pipelines; the worksheet helps prepare a clear note before you decide what belongs in a shared workspace.
Check before sending or sharing
Review whether the contact information is current and whether the person wanted a follow-up through that channel. If a teammate will act on the note, include only the context needed for that action. Close a completed promise rather than leaving an endless reminder. A draft message should be checked for names, dates, attachments, and tone. This free worksheet sends no message and creates no CRM record.
Worked example
A small situation to try
Illustrative note: Casey asked for the community workshop schedule and said email was easiest. You promised to send the public schedule on Friday. The note records that request, a link to verify, and a reminder to check that the attachment is current. It does not turn a friendly conversation into a sales opportunity.
